⭐️ I received this product for free from Influenster and Biolage in exchange for an honest review. I used this product approximately one to 2 times a week for a little over a month in place of my regular shampoo. I’ve been using scalp scrubs for about a year due to having a dry, itchy scalp mostly on the back of my head near my neck. I typically use them in place of my shampoo once a week. This scrub has very fine particles in a somewhat thick shampoo formula. It is not harsh or overly abrasive and has a pleasantly fresh (almost slightly floral) scent. It left my scalp feeling clean and appeared to do a decent job removing some of the patches of dry skin. With that being said, I did have a few issues. At first, it seemed to require a lot of product and did not lather well or really spread well throughout my hair ( shoulder length/ wavy/ medium thickness). You really have to work to get a good lather and take the time to work section by section. Also, it can be difficult to wash it out completely. Because of this, it’s best to be carefully to not use too much (as little as necessary) or go in with regular shampoo and conditioner afterwards (so you technically would rinse your hair 3 times) if you do use a lot of product. Personally, my scalp is so dry that it’s hard to find a scalp scrub that can scrub well enough without leaving my hair/ scalp too dry. Unfortunately after awhile my hair did start to feel dryer than normal after use.
