Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Light Catcher

*I received this product for free from Influenster and Biolage in exchange for an honest review. I’ve been using the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Light Catcher in the shade Celestial Light for a little over a month now. I’ve tried it with several different foundations and as an all- over setting powder and on the high points of my face as a highlighter. I have found that I love this as a setting powder over foundations with matte, semi- matte, and natural finish (over a dewy/ luminous foundation it can be way too much of a glow for me personally). It seems to work best when applied with the velour puff with a pressing and rolling motion. For a highlighter though you can definitely use a brush. When using the powder with a puff I noticed that it seemed to blur and smooth texture and helped some with the longevity of my makeup. Available in 3 shades: Celestial Light (fair-light skin tones), Honey Star (medium skin tones with olive and golden undertones), and Cosmic Rose (medium-deep to deep skin tones).

Rating: 5 out of 5.
